 The long-term series of environmental conditions data are needed for determination of the relevant meteorological and oceanographic parameters including its extreme values. Archived data rows are used for this purposes as a rule. Therefore the long-term observations are absent in local survey points in most cases especially for offshore areas. For this reason the observation of major oceanographic and meteorological parameters is needed.

Important part of our business now - The INFOMAR acts in Russian market as supplier of oceanography and meteorology instruments as well as MetOcean Measurement system (MOMS) on base advanced hi-tech equipment. We do not produce any instruments by ourselves but make a design (specification), delivery, commissioning and service of sold equipment. Mainly we provide with MOMS for Offshore Oil/Gaz Projects but Port Authorities, Research Institutes and Universities use our service very often too.
The INFOMAR is an authorized dealer of AADI and SAIV (Norway), Nautilus Marine and General Acoustics (Germany), RS Aqua (UK), Oceanscience Group (US).
Aanderaa Data Instruments AS equipment has been proved mostly appropriate for instrumental support of oceanographic and meteorological surveys in coastal and offshore zones and INFOMAR Company acts as AADI's official distributor and representative in Russia.
Measuring currents and other physical parameters in the ocean has always been the AADI principle field of operation. Over the years close to 20,000 Recording Current Meters, Temperature Profile Recorders and Water Level Recorders have been manufactured and supplied to the worldwide oceanographic community. At the same time the land based Aanderaa Automatic Weather Stations are among the most field-friendly in the world. They are easy to transport, assemble, install and operate. For protection, storage, and ease of handling protective shells in different colours and design can be provided as well. They are neutrally buoyant and made of polyethylene.
